What I love most about TBPP is that it’s not about birthdays at all. It is about self worth and allowing yourself to be fully seen and fully celebrated for YOU. Children, especially those experiencing trauma, cannot hear those messages enough. They not only deserve to be celebrated for their birthday, they deserve to grow into emotionally healthy adults who are able to celebrate themselves no matter what life throws at them.

One of the best parts of the parties each month is the birthday kids’ reactions when we place a whole smash cake in front of them and sing! They can’t believe they are getting a cake and a gift that is all theirs. I love watching their reactions and making memories with the kids and their families that will last a lifetime!
